To become a Mentor, you must have been living in Canada for at least three years and be available and willing to answer a wide range of questions from families who are arriving or have recently arrived in Ottawa and the surrounding areas.
You will be dealing with dreams and anxieties, so if you're the type of person who checks WhatsApp every three days, this may not be the best volunteer opportunity for you.
